Bear Canyon

I was fortunate enough to see this country before the 1958 Arroyo Seco Fire. It was so unfortunate that we lost huge groves of Big Cone spruce in that conflagration. This area should be designated wilderness, because it is an isolated eco-system which is roadless up until Bear Canyon meets the Mt. Lowe-Mt. Wilson Fire road.
