Bear Tracks-Avalanche-Lady Wilson's Right Tit

[ Sizes: Orig | Large | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Bear Tracks-Avalanche-Lady Wilson\'s Right Tit
Avalanche wiping out bears tracks below Lady Wilson's Right Tit. Why I advise to consider Lady Wilson's Right Tit out of condition in May. This small event happened while we were climbing Major Wilson. Wilson Major III, WI 3-6; Icefield Parkway, Banff National Park, May 3, 2006

The grizzlies in our realm search avalanche terrain when they arise from hibernation in search of goat carcasses. Thus, they do huge long traverses in such terrain.

""You cannot stay on the summit forever; you have to come down again. So why bother in the first place? Just this: What is above knows what is below, but what is below does not know what is above. One climbs, one sees. One descends, one sees no longer, but one has seen. There is an art of conducting oneself in the lower regions by the memory of what one saw higher up. When one can no longer see, one can at least still know.""   --Rene Daumal
