After climbing up the first ridge from the parking area, you are treated to this view of Beautiful Mountain. The actual summit is out of sight beyond the cliffs. The route up is through the cleft in the cliffs in the left center of the pic. Climb up that rocky ramp and it goes all the way to the top of the cliffs without any technical challenge. 10/2/2009
