Thanks Dean. I like beavertails too. They don't "attack" like the chollas even if you get close. This was back in 2005. It was nice to be able to get some lake in the background.

But be careful

Be careful, though, of the tiny glochids. The tiny spines that getcha. Always have a roll of tape handy when in the desert for removing opuntia glochids.

Thanks for the comment and good advice. Luckily, I never bumped into these guys yet. I've had my share of cholla and barrel cati though. Ouch!
