Begin of Stone Canyon Trail

Look back at the begin of the Stone Canyon Trail. Wildwood picnic area with the trailhead is to the left. From the parking lot a dirt path leads straight east (right) to Stonyvale. A little dirt path leads down from the parking lot to Big Tujunga Creek. The Stone Canyon Trail can be seen on the east (right) bank of Stone Canyon. If you cross Big Tujunga near the Wildwood parking lot you have to scramble over rocks to find the trail. At this time of the year dozens of blooming yuccas are spotted all over that area.
