do these boards on that gate that I've not encountered in days I was there last time commemorate someone or some event ?

To be totally honest I feel a bit sick encountering more and more artificials on Bieszczady trails in beautiful natural surrounding, I don't know why Park authorities go that way as I am more than convinced that it is not that what true, famous beauty and attraction of the area that differentiate it positively from other Carpathian ranges is all about. National Park is not a city park.
