Between Doe Knob and Gregory Bald

The Gregory Bald Trail between Doe Knob (the AT) and Gregory Bald is not used very often as a summit approach for the bald. The trail was very narrow and overgrown in spots, but was never overly difficult to follow. If you are looking for Smoky Mountain solitude, you will most likely find it on this ~ 3 mile stretch of trail. Gregory Bald Trail GSMNP June 5, 2015
