Re: Nice!Thank you Scott… it ended up quiet a bit of an epic adventure. We got off the route, summited late, partner got near miss by a flying rock.
Summit at sunset - enjoyed Grand Teton to ourselves, descent in the dark, my head lamp died etc… fun!!!

Re: Nice!On our first climb of the Grand we too got off-route and watched the sunset from the summit. We didn't know how to get off so we ended up spending an unplanned night at 13,000' with no biv gear. My legs were numb from the knees down when I got up the next morning.

Re: Nice!ouch… we still had some light till almost lower saddle, luckily, otherwise our fate would be the same… It is cold and windy up there… I got cliffed out a few times on the descent to the lower saddle...
