Big Day on Big Creek
Great 3-peak day (see boisedoc’s entry below). Twelve hours round trip meant we were spent after our big loop. Trip Report

long day
after talking about it for about 7 years, 6 of us drove over from Boise for this hike. The trailhead is pretty low making for a good early season peak. We were able to find the unlikely trail described here, which we dubbed "Victors trail" which got us up the first several hundred feet. The rest of the climb is as described, straightforward except for occasional postholing. We then traversed to Flatiron and the Pk 10571ft aka Smokescreen Peak making for a loop with about 6000ft gain. Good times with a great group of people. Good views in all directions.
