| In terms of effort an easy hike up from Buchille, doable in 1hr30.....descent by the ridge took alot longer, very vertiginous and precarious. The cables and chains on the normal route are badly placed and more of a hindrance as they are too high above the path in places, plenty of good rock to grab on to if needed. Snow slope on the north side was also a bit precarious with steep run off. Busy area close to the chalets, but only saw a handful of people going to the top. | |
