Overview
Red Rocks Canyon Open Space is a sandstone climbing area with over 80 routes. It is strongly recommended that climbers only climb established routes. This minimizes environmental damage to the cliff-tops Also please avoid walking around on the tops of the cliffs to preserve the fragile cliff-top environment.
Getting There
Red Rocks Canyon is directly south of Garden Of The Gods. Just of highway 24 is one of two parking lots. From I-25 head west on highway 24 at the only turn between 30th street and the first Manitou Springs exit. Drive 1 block south and park at the designated parking area. Hike east along the dirt road,which leads you into lower Red Rocks Canyon.Follow the road uphill past the old house.
Route Description
This is a fun route..good for first timers 5.7 Climb directly up the longest slab in the middle of the face.Climb up and left to the smooth crux slab. 5 bolts and 2 anchor 100ft
