| Due to late arrival to Makarska (7 hours drive from home near Zagreb), ascent from "zero" height has to wait another chance (with arrival early in the morning). During 2 whole + 2 half days of walk we have seen >20 chamois, 12 people and only one snake. Superb views on sea and continental sides. Spent 2 nights in Lokva (Ravlic) hut and one in Sv. Jure hut - my wife and me alone! Fantastic sunsets. Pretty hot even at altitude >1500 m - lot of liquid required. | |
