Met these two men just below Bishop Pass(11,972'). It was their first day of a 10 day backpacking trip from South Lake to Whitney Portal(110 miles). Very inspirational meeting these two, over 70 years of age, hikers. Sierra Nevada. Ca. July 23, 2012.
