I Saw Your Bloomer
The whole area was burned by first the Camp Fire in 2018 and then the Claremont-Bear Fire in 2020. It did open up the views. It's a little sad driving through the residential areas that are trying to rebuild.

Fantastic tower
What a thrill to climb these stairs and look out over the Sierra after a storm. Took Bloomer Hill Road all the way, but OP was right in that it was quite rocky the last mile - I got out and walked.
