Enjoyable

read and photos. I had forgotten about the isolated AYC grove. Another interesting tree item is I believe the Blues just north of Burns on the slopes adjacent to King Mtn have the southernmost Western Larch in the N.America. I think slightly further south than any in Idaho. I used to live and work out of Burns doing field forestry and tramped quite a bit in the mountains....the larch when turning in fall stood out so one could spot isolated the stragglers overlooking the Great Basin.
