Hit the CA2 Highway all the way into Pig Pines Ranger Station. It’s across the road at the exit from Mountain High, you can’t miss it.A lovely day for a Blue Ridge Hike

All you need is a Angeles Forest Day Pass or the yearly pass. It is right off the CA2 highway. The Big Pine Ranger Station is literally across the street from the trailhead.My boys and I had a wonderful time. We took many breaks for pics and snax of course. The trail was very easy and my 5 year old loved it. Very good views of the mountains. It did have a bit of ice on it but that just meant even more fun for the kid. At one point on the way back it was so peaceful that my Noah (1.5) fell asleep in the snugli strap do-hickie....what a life right. Another cool trail conquered in the Angeles Forest. This place is chalk full of cool places get off the couch and go see something!!
