Bob on Bobs Towers

Splattski after summitting the highest of the Bobs Towers. You'd think I would look happier after soloing a Class 5 peak in the Winds, but this is how I always look in pictures. Mount Woodrow Wilson and Gannett Peak are visible behind me. Wind River Range, WY-- August 2013

Happy Boy!

I probably always look like this too when I've soloed something. Mainly because I'm worried about getting back down. The glaciers in the Wind Rivers behind you look like they had a hard year. They're pretty bare. Nice summit!

The truth is that I hate the way my smile looks in pictures, so I go to great lengths to avoid smiling in them!
