Bottom of Mooney Falls

Bottom of Mooney Falls

It is definitively worth to descend down to the pool. Mooney Falls was the most sacred waterfall of the Havasupai. They called it the Mother of the Waters until a tragic death gave it a new name. In the 1880 Daniel Mooney fell to his death at the falls. Havasupai claimed that no one had ever passed beyond the fall. It was possible for birds of the air or spirits of the dead.
