| Hiked this one with wingding (KathyW) via the Queen's Mine approach. Had hoped to tag Montgomery Peak as well but the weather wasn't encouraging and I was kinda whooped by the time we reached the top of Boundary. Best HP to date. #39. | |

| 7.5h hike, just follow the trail and you'll be fine, via Trail Canyon Route which I'd recommend a 2WD SUV. The hard part is to gain the ridge and once you did that, it's 1.5h to the summit for me. | |

| Climbed via the Queen Mine. My friend's Toyota Corolla couldn't make it to the mine so we ditched it along the way and walked up to Kennedy point, camped there and climbed it the next day. I thought the scree wasn't as bad as advertised but the scrambling was worse than I had thought. Maybe I got off route for that last section. Perfect weather and a great hike, it's a really cool mountain in it's own way. | |

| Tagged Boundary and Montgomery with Kathy and John on a perfectly gorgeous day! Very easy to navigate although you see "goat" trails everywhere, just pick your line. I found that Montgomery was much more satisfying than Boundary but it was pretty cool to hit the NV high point. Great day! | |

| Not denied this time, finally tagged State HP #14 with a cool group of compadres - one planned, met 3 more. Trail/route is very easy to follow and is only a slippery slog part of the way. If you're hating the scree follow the rocky ridge direct from 12,200' to 12,600' for some easy class 3/class 2 boulder climbing. Only damper on the day was my wonderful head cold and the wind. | |

| Hiked to the saddle and camped then hiked to the top and out the 2nd day. It was really cold, windy and snowy, but a lot of fun. 2nd state highest peak I did. | |

| After failing twice on the Queen Mine route in winter conditions, I decided to give it a try in the summer. Cruised up and down on a beautiful day with a guy and a girl (must have been K9H2OBearer) from Nevada not far behind. Had nice conversation and exchanged picture taking favors with them on the summit. I left a Nevada flag in the register box to go with the Boundary Peak flag. HP40 | |

| Nice climbers trail all the way to the summit. It's not talus climbing when there is a trail. Met new friend up there, we went on that evening and climbed White Mountain Peak, the 3rd highest peak in California. Boundary Peak Trip Report | |
