Box Elder Peak anticline.

Just looking at this part of the north cirque of Box Elder Peak makes my head spin. Loads of geologic forces at work here! A couple anticlines, the Nebo thrust fault and more are all present under this mountain. The Oquirrh limestone beds seen are twisted like stacks of paper. Taken from the summit, 6-16-2012.
