Breche du Roland

Breche du Roland

The Breche du Roland as seen from the North (French side) from a position outside the CAF Sarradets refuge. Legend has it that the Breche was caused by a sword cut by Roland, nephew of the famous Charlemagne in the year 788. (info: Kev Reynolds guide)
