Hasn't voted | thank you, Bob! I tried to improve the picture, but it did not get better. As it is a "contre-jour-shot", even with lower contrast there are not more details in the rocks. Do you really think the picture is not horizontal? The right one of the two main peaks is Cima Tosa (3173 m), the left one Cima Brenta (3151 m). yes, all my pictures are scanned slides. My hardware isn't that extraordinary. 1994-2003 I used a Pentax Z 20 SLR camera with two zooms 35-70 mm and 70-200 mm. This old picture was done with a Pentax MX. Always I used Fuji Sensia film. I scan with a CanonScan FS 2710 (no more available).
IMHO very important for internet use are software corrections what I do with PhotoImpact.
