Broken Top route

The complete route on the summit block. Competent climbers often do this without any problem at all, but you must be comfortable down climbing fifth class terrain with major exposure. For a larger team, two ropes are recommended. We used a small alpine rack of 6-7 small-medium cams. Do not bring stoppers or hexes. The orange line is the "catwalk" an easy but exposed section that has some protection. 50 meter ropes work fine for this route.
