Consolation after bailing on Black
This was my consolation prize after deciding to bail on Black Mountain. Class 4 rock and very steep heather on Black Mountain didn't seem safe to do solo on top of what I had to do to get back. This was a neat little summit with only two entries in its register which was placed in 1987. Not much for prominence but a great objective. I will try Black from Painted next time with snow.
