| We took the maintenance road since we wanted to touch all 5 highest summits of Sardinia on that day. Up to Bruncu Spina it was very lonely but later on we met quite some peak baggers (highpointers) who wanted to hike onto Punta La Marmora. When we returned we were chased off the mountain by huge swarms of flies, which desided to start their mating ritual at the end of the day. The ground was black! We were glad when we had reached our car and closed the doors! | |
