Voted 10/10 | Nice. I've always wondered where the name "Gospel Hump" came from. Do you know?

Hasn't voted | MRH, what a great report. I was last at the Hump about 15 years ago; fishing at Hump Lake with my Uncle and cousin. We used four-wheelers, after leaving his 4x4 at Wildhorse. I'm planning on returning in '08 with my sons, after we spend 2 weeks hiking at Philmont NM Scout Ranch this summer. Unfortunately, I don't have a four-wheeler.

Voted 10/10 | Great info!!Liked your pictures too. My parents took me here when I was about 3. My 62 yr. old dad carried me on his shoulders most of the way. Want to go back again now that I have a jeep of my own. Thanks!!
