Buffalo

Two buffalo from a herd of five near Crows Nest Pass. We had spent the day visiting "Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump", a World Heritage site near Fort Macleod, Alberta. A place where buffalo had been hunted for over 5,000 years. Seeing these live great beasts made my 7-year-old boys day as well as all of us. Saturday June 23rd, 2007. Yea...

...very nice shot! Saw a couple of them when I was a small kid at a wildlife viewing area and it tried to eat our car!!!
