The first pitch. You can take the flake to the right or the tougher crack, a little 5.9ish- particulary with packs on, to the left. We actually bypassed a slower team by doing the left. It is a clean finger crack. NE Ridge, 5.8, IV, Bugaboo Spire, August 25, 2006

Brings a tear to my eye...

...sights like these - sun-lit granite in the alpine - esp now that summer's over.

true Radek, for therapy however, I sharpened my ice tools yesterday and laid the skis out for some repairs this morning...didn't remember hitting that many rocks last spring though....they look like crap...cheers
