| we did this route by accident as we had gotten lost from lake alpine due to late season snow covering the trail. ended up at bull run lake (beautiful) and then decided to see if we could make it up bull run peak. we approached from the south side which seemed the most gradual. however, once we got the mesa, there was a 20 chasm that we could not cross. it doesn't appear to be there in some of the 2003 photos...erosion maybe? | |
