| Cascade Scrambler | Quick and easy, even in a sauna Date Climbed: Jun 1, 2011 | |
| Second ascent of the day. 90 degrees, 85% humidity; felt like a sauna. The highest point of Chimney Rocks isn't the obvious one, it appears to be towards the southeast. Stand on them all if you're not sure. Descent was quick and easy. | |

| Started at the Old Forge picnic area and climbed up via the AT. Crossed to the blue-blazed trail via a pipeline and descended that trail past Hermitage Cabin. Chimney Rocks and the foot bridge over the stream next to Hermitage Cabin are two great places to take a break. | |
