| Outstanding! This was the first mountain I ever climbed (or know that I climbed and can remember as such). That was way back in 1981 (I think). I was only 10 years old. I remember because I beat my dad to the top when I rushed past him at the last second. It became a sort of "I was first to the top" game for all climbs thereafter. As I recall, the summit is rocky but the slopes were mostly grassy. In the dale below there was a neat little bridge over a stream and maybe a stile that the trail went over. Indelible memories, aiblins? | |
