| After failing to climb Cadillac as a kid (accidentally did Pemetic instead), I was eager to give this one a shot on vacation. My younger cousin and I got dropped off by Hadlock Pond and proceeded over Bald Peak, Sargent, Penobscot, S. Bubble, Pemetic and Cadillac in beautiful weather, ending on the summit where we got picked up. Took about 7 hours--my cousin slowed down a bit toward the end, but did pretty well for his first real hike. Now I have to come back to try the Precipice! (it was closed while I was there) | |

| Did a loop...up Dorr via Ladder, down to the gorge, up Cadallic, down to bubble pond, up Pemetic, down to the pond trail to the cannon brook trail...back to the car. AWESOME day...especially the empty parking lot on Cadillac :) | |

| Just drove to the top because there were a million people at the trailhead. The summit was just loaded with people. Still, it was a nice view and the drive up and down is fun. | |

| Did Otter Cliff, Thunder Hole, Beehive, Champlain Mountain, Huguenot Head, Dorr Mountain and Cadillac Mountain from Blackwoods Campground and back. The march down Cadillac's southern ridge was the highlight of the day. Speechless. | |

| Up the North Ridge. Fun scramble down into the Gorge and down south before looping around to take the Ladder Trail up Dorr. Great place and thankfully the rain held off until Flanders and I got back to the car. (sorry, that is pronounced "cah") | |

| Hiked with Brian Jenkins. Went up North Ridge and made a huge loop around and up Door Mountain. Highly recommend going through the Gorge - may add some miles but it was a nice "brook" hike. Windy up top, but it was dry. | |

| Hit the summit on a beautiful June day. Most of the days we were there it was cloudy/foggy, but on summit day, it was spectacular, with incredible views of the blue water and blue sky. I'll never forget it. | |

| Ignoring the tour bus and drive-up peepers, one actually has a wilderness experience in Acadia. The Precipice route is not for everyone, it's exposed and fun. This park has a dozen good hikes that can be linked together. Awesome sunrises on Cadillac and nearby Sargent Mountain. | ||
