Cairn on the saddle between Bärenluegspitz and Dreieckspitz

A hiking trail leads up to the Dreieckspitz, which gets a fair amount of visitors. It offers a wonderful viewpoint to look down on the Fleischbachkees on the southeast, and to the highest peaks of the Rieserferner Group to the south. In contrast, there is no easy trail to the top of the Bärenluegspitz. Add to that that it's not quite a 3000-er and that the views are not quite as good as from the Dreieckspitz, and it won't come as a surprise that very few people venture up. 28 July 2014.
