Cairn, Tschigat (2998m) and Halsljoch (2808m)

Ok, I'll admit that beginning the title with "Cairn" is a bit odd. I did so on purpose though, because its an important one along the route from the north up via Andelsboden to the Halsljoch saddle, the snow covered gap in the ridge. If the snow cover is more extensive, the hiking trail itself won't be visible, nor will the typical red and white paint marks. But the cairn will still stand out. Mind you, in good weather you can obviously see the saddle, so the cairn wouldn't be necessary. But if you don't know the area, it's helpful on the way down. 15 July 2013.
