Campanile di Val Montanaia

[ Sizes: Orig | Med | Small | Thumb ]
Campanile di Val Montanaia
The famous Campanile di Val Montanaia, here seen from the South. This beautiful scene arises when you approach it through Montanaia valley. Over this face also a very popular climbing route goes (also on this picture there are climbers). To see its course, compare the picture with this drawing. August 8th, 2006.

It attracts you, a? What an honour such proposal for me! But I'm not sure if I'd be able to. I did climb IV degree when I was 20, but now... And I have no skills how to handle all that gear. Even if there's no case that someone should stay on top forever - but I was never 'abseiling' in my life. So, thank you for now :)
This year Marco (MOP) from SummitPost was there on top on the same day as I was passing by. But we didn't know for each other - I missed him for half an hour.
