Canigo NormalFlorence and I with our friends from Ararat 2011 (Fulvio, Sophie, Isabelle, Mireille) spent a great extended weekend in Canigo area:
1. 13/09/2014 from Ras del Prat de Cabrera (1739m)(accesible by 4x4)to Cortalets Refuge (2150m) - from 16h-18h.
2. 14/09/2014 from Cortalets to summit Canigo (2784m) we started 830am and summited easy at 10:15m. Then from there down the "Chimney" to Mariailles refuge (1730m) which we reached at 15h45 after pic-nic and little rain shower. After dinner, we assisted a beautiful guitar concert by a Scottish man who lost her love rock climbing in the area. Very sad and emotional.
3. 15/09/2014 On Monday we visited the nice Abbey of St Martin and then back to Paris by train
