Cardiff Pass (near)
This was our first (and only so far) attempt at Mt. Superior. There was the big snow storm in early October 2007. Nothing underneath really, so avalanches weren't a worry. We underestimated the snow depth, and neglected to bring snowshoes. Thus we only made it to the radio shack, on the first peak west of Cardiff Pass. Here you see Vanman breaking through the waste deep drift onto the ridge.
