Cassons
Cassons is one of the oldest cablecars still in service in Switzerland (dating from 1956) and will be in service until 2015. Although the ridge above the village of Flims is only 2700 meters high, it benefits from a wide open space to spot as many as 400 peaks from Ortler to Dom. Highest peak in centre is Piz Ela, Piz Bernina is visible towards the right edge of the picture.
