Went up the same rocks (N side) shown in the pics for this page. One block (several hundred lbs) on final approach is loose, else route is quite clean. Descent off N side looks creepy, but the rock is very frictional and mostly tight and trustworthy (watch out for one loose slab). MacLeod-Lilley register!
The survey crew (for the benchmark) appears to have taken the chute on the SW side, as is visible on left side of this photo. Word on the street: that's an easier route.
Previous ascents recorded in summit log in 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1999 and 2001. The summit scramble was sketchy with lots of loose rocks and boulders. After clearing the crumble off, the ledges are sturdy, clean and lots of fun.
