Catkin Pods of Utah Milkvetch
in a limestone crevisse on the West Ridge of Mt Van Cott. The beautiful silky-haired seed pods of Astragalus utahensis may look as soft as willow catkins, but beneath the fur is the usual pea-pod of milkvetches.
