I like this area a lot. I have climbed Cat Rock, Bobs Hill, Chimney Rock and Wolf Rock many times since the 90s.

Took the direct route up to Chimney Rock which round trip is only about 2 miles. I took my 2 brother in laws with me for a visit. I climbed these mountains all the time as a teen but haven't been back in years. Used to spend so much time climbing in and around all the rocks. Nice memories to share.

After the 4 mile loop to Wolf Rock and Chimney Rock from the Visitor's Center, continued on to Cunningham Falls, Hog Rock, Blue Ridge Summit overlook and Thurmont Vista; great spring day out in the woods.

Have been a few times but when I was very young. Great place to hike and there are a few good rock climbs in this park.

Our Boy Scout Troop has hiked and even backpacked in this area and the nearby Catoctin Mountain park many times. I really should go back for a dayhike in the fall or spring when it's particularly beautiful!
