what is the approach like in Dec?

It really depends on the year. The approach across the flats is fairly strenuous depending on the snow depth and can be extremely confusing unless you know the area very well. The ridgeline to the summit is a piece of cake. It's usually blown dry and there is little to no exposure. I wouldn't, however, attempt it in the dead of winter due to avalanche danger along the route...but it looks like you're well experienced and equipped for that.

Ya I just had my first, first hand experience with avalanches, on Little Mac in the Lost River Range on the 22nd of Dec. There wasnt a lot of snow but the gully we traversed into had a huge wind slab that sheered under us. I am thankful to be alive today. I posted some pics of it under little mac.

Wow! I'm glad to hear you're alright! I just climbed that very ridgeline in soppy snow conditions about 1 year ago and was constantly questioning the stability of that slope. The Boulders are notorious for their avalanches so I'd stay clear of Cerro Ciento considering the recent weather and forboding La Nina set up...
