I've wanted to go to Costa Rica for a long time but not for the hiking/climbing. Is that photo the summit? It looks like there could be some class 2 or even 3 moves? You say it's just a scramble?

It is the summit of the Crestones.

The easiest route is actually 5.4, so it's quite a bit harder than class 2-3.

The other summits in the area (Ventisqueros, Chirripo, Terbi, etc). can be reached by trails or scrambles.
