I started with only two of my grandfather's 1928 pix of

La Grand Chartreuse Monastery. My mom at age 14 studied French in Grenoble while my grandfather took pictures of La Grand Chartreuse. The Monastery changed his life and upon their return to Detroit my grandfather became an architectual photographer.
