Thanks Usman! The Charakusa glacier is located in the Hushe valley. The Charakusa glacier is famous for rock and ice climbing. Some famous peaks of the area is K-6, K-7, Drifika, Kapura, Nasar, Niza, Phati Brakk and Farhat Brakk.

The Gigit-Baltistan and Chitral valley have countless glaciers. In an area of about 500kms in width and 350kms in depth, is found most dense collection of the highest mountains in the world, boasting countless peaks below 5000m, mote than 700 peaks above 6000m, and more than 160 peaks above 7000m. These include five out of the total 14 above 8000m peaks on earth, The K2 (8611m), Nanga Parbat (8125m), Gasherbrum-I (8068m), Broad Peak (8047m) and the Gasherbrum-II (8035m). The area is known a Paradise for Mountaineer, adventure and nature lovers. Beside the high mountains, these areas are inhabited by the longest glaciers outside polar regions. There are more than 5000 glaciers in the area, some of glaciers are Siachen (75km), Biafo (68km), Baltoro (62 km), Batura (58 km), Hispar (53 km), Rimo (45km) Chogo Lungma (47km), Panmah (44km), Khurdopin (41km), Saropo Laggo (33km) and many more, not possible to mention here all.
