Looking very good. I will look fro the routes in the future. I know nothing about the climbing in OK except what is on the SP, and assume few others do also, so the info is valuable.

Thanks for your kind words! If I ever find myself in the northeast we'll have to get together and hit the peaks out your way.

Nice work. This part of Oklahoma provides some really striking panoramas. I'll make sure to see this area when I finally drive out to visit the West.

Nice work! I had no idea OK had mountains and you've done a a great job here. Interesting: the apparent granite terrain looks exactly like the San Diego mountains.

I should have been more specific - Yes, the San Diego mountains I referred to are those in San Diego county, CA. Take a look at any pages for peaks in the area and you will see the similarities. (Unfortunately, quite toasted due to terrible fires last Oct.) Also, most of S. Cal has similar geology so there's a lot of that eroded, old granite around.

Looks like the set of one of those old cowboy films

and a place familiar to Orpheus and Eurydice.

Very nice. I stumbled upon this and have revised my opinion of Oklahoma. Interesting stuff, with bison.

"I've heard a lot about the Canadian Rockies, but after exposing myself to them a little bit more fully, I realize that I truly must get out there someday. " Sam, my parents live in Tulsa, just hitch a ride with them....seriously, look me "when" you get up here...I love showing off the spender of the rockies...cheers!
