| The first time we missed the start of the bushwhack to the summit in the rain. It's not too bad a bushwhack if you can locate the marker on the trail. There was only one patch of cane on the bushwhack. Lucky us. | |

| Have passed by many times on MTS. Finally got to do the short bushwack to the true top. Some meadows along the way if I remember correctly. | |

| Bushwhacked from the Mountains to Sea Trail from the northeastern side of the mountain. I was a little concerned about this bushwhack but found it to be fairly easy. The view from the location where you begin the bushwhack is incredible. | |
