| From the summit, took the broad red ridge towards Painted Tepee Peak. Descended from the saddle down to Cobalt Lake. First time to Two Medicine Pass, which to me seems like a highly underrated area of the park. Climbed again on June 26, 2011 when clouds forced our group to abort an attempt on Grizzly Mountain. Unbelieveable amounts of snow on the trail up to Cobalt Lake and on to Two Medicine Pass. | ||

| Climbed from just above Cobalt Lake didn't want to walk the extra miles over to the base of Rockwell. Great day for a hike and an easy climb. July 18, 2011 Summited via saddle between Lodgepole and Painted Teepee. August 22, 2011 Climbed with Rod G. and GlacierCountry on the way to Painted Teepee Peak after climbing Mount Rockwell. High winds made walking along the crest of the ridge interesting. | ||

| Saintgrizzly | Hurricane force winds! ![]() Date Climbed: Jul 6, 2005 | |
| More the high point of Two Medicine Pass rather than an actual summit, but nevertheless done en route to and from Grizzly Mountain. Bad winds going up, substantially increased coming down in the afternoon. For the first time in my life I think I experienced actual hurricane force winds—walking at a 45 degree angle, carefully placing each foot so as to brace it against a rock, and still at one point, for a brief second my legs were lifted out from under me, and I was airborne. VERY disconcerting, to say the least(!), and the only thing saving me was that my legs hit a protruding boulder. I was sooo glad to get off that pass! The wind was like something solid.... Wow!!! Two Medicine Pass has stunning views into the Nyack, and the incredible area around Mount Saint Nicholaswell worth the effort!!!! | ||

| My wife and I took the boat across the lake early in the afternoon and hiked to Cobalt Lake. I wanted to hike on to Two Medicine Pass so I could complete my goal of reaching all the trail-accessible passes in the Two Medicine area attainable by day hikes. When I saw that Chief Lodgepole was slightly closer and higher and had better views, I went there instead. It was a hazy day from the big fires of 2003. | ||
