AmazingPerfect photo composition of that excellent mountain slightly covered with snow powder, brings Cima del Vallone, my favourite peak above the Riobianco valley, in my sad home. My compliments and thanks for sharing, Fabrizio.

Re: AmazingGrazie Andrej! When I saw dark clouds in the Julians two days ago I knew that was snowing and the next day I chose an easy peak to climb ( from your book... ) and I found there a magic atmosphere, with wonderful autumn colors mixed with the pure white of the snow. What a beautiful day! I took very nice photos, in the next days I hope to bring to your "sad" home some of my impressions of that day.
Ciao!
P.S. Vid and Bor wanted to climb this peak on september and post a page about it ( I think it deserves a good page ) but I think they changed plans. Today more snow fell so for this year I think it's too late...

Re: AmazingI mentioned my home as sad, because a couple of days ago my mother died. She was 97- year-old, but I spent all my life with her, so my home is now empty and sad. Due to her bad condition I also missed the meeting in Kranjska gora. The colours of Cima del Vallone have evoked proper feelings in my heart.
Ciao, Andrej

Re: AmazingI'm sorry for your loss, Vid told me about your mother. About the Kraniska meeting I hope there will be other occasions to meet and maybe climb a mountain together.
