Solid Rock?

Is the rock solid or crumbly? Is this a popular wall climbing area?

You bet! I'm not sure about Rosetta itself but the surrounding mountains are very popular among climbers. Monte Agner has (by some account) the highest vertical rock face in the whole Alps - 1600m! Cima della Madonna and Sass Maor are two towers with very well known routes. The Spigolo del Velo on Cima della MAdonna is counted among the most beautiful climbs of the Dolomites.

I don't climb myself but gabriele.roth or lorenzo_t would be able to tell you more about this.
